Fancy restaurant with a wine/drinks card and a very nice interior, reasonably priced drinks, soft Chinese background music. But a weird vibe: you get the drinks card and only get the menu when you ask, the menu is online only and you order to your table in an odd way. Discrepancy between no customers, fancy vibes and impersonal service. No bar or outside seating for solo dining.
Beef well braised and flavorful, ok amount, some silverskin/fatty parts. Broth has good aromatic, pho-like flavor, not spicy. Noodles skinny and fresh-tasting, pleasant to eat. Half egg cold and hard-boiled with no flavor. Bean sprouts/cilantro/scallion ok; bok choy fresh, crisp and flavorful.

Chili oil — roasted/burnt and not fragrant, very finely ground, medium spicy. Soy sauce. Black vinegar on request.
