Noodles well cooked with some bite. Creamy base with good fragrant chili flavor — rich but not fatty, slightly sweet (sesame, bone broth, chili oil?). Minced pork nicely cooked and tasty (could be crispier). Peas creamy and tender, only a little mealy. Very nice bowl; the pea+mince don't stick to the noodles so a clean bite needs a spoon.
Fresh dumplings with fresh-tasting filling — could be thinner dough, but better than dumplings from Jia. The spicy oil they came in was outstanding: incredibly fragrant with great Sichuan peppercorn aroma and tingliness, very little bitterness. No vinegar or soy needed!
Service
Very nice service with explanation and help throughout.
Condiments
Chili oil — not too spicy but very fragrant, much improved from last time. Black vinegar and soy sauce.
