Too bland, too sweet, too one-note

Overall everything too bland, too sweet, too one-note — nothing positive in the composition decisions.

Braised pork wheat noodles
2.02.0 out of 5

Yellow egg noodles decently cooked — the best-executed part. Braised pork low in sauce, sweet-soy red-braised style though advertised as spicy; pork pieces too small to blend into a bite of noodles yet too small and dry to enjoy alone. Small portion. Peanut topping not noticeable; cucumbers were Danish sugar-vinegar hotdog slices :( Soy egg overcooked, bland, fridge-cold inside.

Pork wontons in chili oil
2.52.5 out of 5

Pork filling nicely textured but bland and not heavily stuffed for the price. Skin reasonably thin but very slippery/overcooked. Chili sauce ok-spicy but not fragrant, lacking vinegar, with a weird syrupy sweetness.

No condiments at the outside tables.
